The STAR Program is supported by extramural funding, totaling over $12 million annually. All extramural funding received by the State University of New York (SUNY) is awarded to The Research Foundation for SUNY, a non-profit educational corporation established in 1951 to support the research, training and public service endeavors of SUNY faculty and staff.
